Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-06-01

This policy explains what data earn.wiki collects, why, and how it's used. We aim to collect the minimum necessary to run the site and its free tools.

Information we collect

When you use the opportunity analyzer, we store the URL you submit and the resulting analysis (risk score, flags, category) so we can display it back to you and, in aggregated/anonymized form, to power the public Live Signals feed. We use a session cookie to associate your saved dossiers and rate-limit usage; this cookie does not contain personal identifying information beyond a randomly generated session ID.

The interactive scam-risk checker tool at /tools/scam-check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a first-party session cookie for core site functionality (saving your analyzed dossiers across visits, rate-limiting free usage). If we run advertising through Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites; you can review and adjust ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (which pages are visited, general geographic region, device type) -- this data is not used to build individual profiles for purposes beyond understanding site usage.

Third-party services

We use OpenAI's API to generate parts of the automated analysis (risk scoring, message templates). Text you submit for analysis may be processed by this third-party service subject to their own data handling terms. We use Cloudflare for hosting and D1/KV for data storage. If AdSense or another ad network is active on the site, those networks operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Data retention and deletion

Analyzed opportunity data and dossiers are retained to support the Live Signals feed and site functionality. If you would like data associated with your session deleted, contact us using the details below and we will remove it on request, subject to reasonable verification.

Children's privacy

earn.wiki is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site's features change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
